This practical tool safely and easily removes the tips from plastic micro tubes and eliminates the hazards of using razor blades or knives. The cutter makes it easy to retrieve radioactive pellets from the tips of tubes without resuspension or the risk of splashed radioactive substances. The Microtube Cutter works well with microcentrifuge tubes up to 1.5ml made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyallomer. Not recommended for polystyrene. Maximum cut diameter is 9.4mm (.370").
