The top section of this vacuum desiccator is clear, molded polycarbonate for observation from any angle. A polypropylene stopcock with a TeflonŽ TFE plug allows gentle air entrance when releasing vacuum. A peripheral flange around the bottom section fits into two snap locks sealing the two halves against a Buna-N O-ring. A polypropylene stopcock with 2mm bore TeflonŽ TFE plug extends from the top center; the bottom section is polypropylene. Vacuum retention rating is 740mm Hg (29"). Interior dimensions are 102mm (4") diameter x 59mm (2 7/16") high. The base is 175mm (6 7/8") diameter.
